Just a Normal Day

Today was pretty average. My sisters and I went over to somebody's house for a party - the actors from Stargate SG-1 (my second fav tv show) were there, and so where a few kids from my school. The house was gorgeous and enormous - it had like five floors and a huge parlor as the entrance room. Unfortunately, the five families that owned the house were actually cannibals, so they kept trying to eat us. It got pretty serious and scary to the point that Carter (character from the show) made a machine that emitted a high-frequency noise that put the cannibals to sleep. I was relieved and wanted to leave right away, but everyone else said, "No, we're safe now, why don't we enjoy this beautiful house and have a party?" I thought they were all crazy, but they started to party anyway.
I decided to leave, as I had a bad feeling about the whole thing. I grabbed one of the beds, which had large old-fashioned rolling wheels on the bottom of it. Giving it a push, I jumped on and sped down the stairs, through the hallways into the parlor room. At that moment, the cannibals started to awaken! Startled and horrified, I quickly rolled the bed outside.
Once I was out on the porch, I knew I was safe. The cannibals didn't like sunlight and wouldn't go outside. But suddenly I remembered my sisters, still partying in the house. Cursing them for their stupidity, I knew I'd have to go back for them.
Grumbling under my breath, I headed back into the house, hiding behind luxurious stuffed armchairs and expensive pieces of furniture. Stealthily I made it, mostly by luck alone, to the fifth floor where the party had been held.
It was over by now, of course. The cannibals had broken it up and eaten a few people. To my relief, my sisters were still alive, if scared silly.
I swiftly put them on another of the beds, giving it a push and hopping on as it sped through the house. We were going to make it! The make-shift travel vehicle was only a few meters away from the exit - when suddenly the cannibals leaped.
My last words were: "I told you so. I told you so. I told you so."
And then we died.
I did mention that this was a dream, right?

Hi StarSkimmer (musiclover),
Nice blog! Thanks for the link to my blog and the comment you left. I'll create a link for you later today. (but first I must get some work and practicing done) I think I'm going to have to draw up a list of rules for myself re when I must practice and when I'm allowed to blog around.
